There are two meanings of the name "Ordai Vice" - one of them has to do with the novel I'm writing and therefore cannot be posted here yet

hehehe.
The other meaning is entirely WoW-Related and dates right back to the end of the High Elves. Read on for the history of the Ordai Vice!
IN WORLD OF WARCRAFT, the Or’Dai Vice is the brainchild of Kyndehran Car’Thalas. Once a noble and respected warrior mage and scholar, Kyndehran proposed an elite cadre be created within the High Elf kingdom of Quel’Thalas, with the purpose of rooting out and eliminating any and all traces of corruption or dark influences.
Sadly however, his vision never came to pass. Kyndehran was accused of the dark art of Necromancy and exiled from Quel’Thalas in disgrace, and his dream seemed to die with him as he was twisted and stolen by The Lich King and the Scourge.
However, his dream was not lost. Even though the Elf behind it had been lost forever to the Scourge, the proposal – and many other works of personal significance to Kyndehran, was unearthed in the aftermath of the Fall of the Sunwell by his daughter, Anieka.
Together with her sisters Meraleth and Vesal, Anieka vowed to see the force her father prophesied come to fruition. Even though she was the middle child of the family, it was Anieka who discovered her father’s dream and her sisters decided she would be the one to see the dream come true.
Many years passed for the young Elf, and she matured into a headstrong and cunning woman, drifting from place to place as a rogue, searching for like-minded individuals to join the cause with the three daughters of Car’Thalas. Eventually enough names were gathered from throughout the horde, and the Or’Dai Vice was founded in the Horde Registry.
The names of those first founders – Anieka, Meraleth, Vesal, Jessyra, Vladian, Neirith, Ikarath and three others who were later lost to the ages – was inscribed with indelible golden ink upon the ledger in the heart of Silvermoon, and although he had been the one to recommend Kyndehran’s exile, the now-Regent Lord Lor’Themar Theron himself gave the clan his personal seal of approval.
The Or’Dai prospered, venturing in their early days into the lair of Onyxia of the Black Dragonflight, to the heart of the Hellfire Citadel and other treacherous places. Indeed, the tales of their accomplishments swiftly became as famous as their celebrations – feasts, banquets and other such magnificent and sometimes decadent functions.
After their initial conquests, the original ten began a massive phase of expansion, and the Ordai swelled to its present-day number of sixty individuals. Led by trusted officers named the Sigillites, Anieka herself followed the words written by her father centuries before to the letter, and with the Sigillites’ aid, cemented the Or’Dai into the soul of the Eastern Kingdoms and all of Azeroth itself.
Many challenges await the guild as it strides into a new frontier in the dark wastes of Northrend, but the vision shines stronger than ever, and fear is forgotten. Time and time again, the first words of her father’s dream are proven true in Anieka’s eyes and in the eyes of each Vindicator to grace the roll of honour:
There shall be no Evil in the mortal world that can stand before a Vindicator and live.
