ITEM 2: Guild Bank Rules
>All members may donate money to the guild.
>NO ONE may remove gold from the guild bank for repairs or personal use of any kind.
>Thievery is STRICTLY prohibited and will result in expulsion from the guild.
>Withdrawing items, gold, mats, armor, weapons, equippable objects, useable objects, or indeed ANYTHING from the guild bank for any of the following purposes will result in disciplinary action (if you're lucky) or expulsion (if you're unlucky):
a. Removal of items to store in personal bank for later use
b. Removal of gold for personal use
c. Faking the need for an emergency loan
d. Stealing from the guildbank (e.g withdrawing without permission from Sigillite or GS)
e. Removal of anything from the guild bank to sell or trade to any non-guild members (including any alts not in the guild)
f. Removal of anything from the guild bank to sell on the auction house or to an NPC
g. Attempting to by-pass, abuse, or change the guild bank system for any of the above purposes or any purposes not outlined here
Note: This is by no means an exhaustive list.
> At announced times, accompanied by a note on the forum and through the guild message of the day, the Grand Sigillite will occasionally perform "clear outs" of items in the guild bank that have sat there for thirty days or more. See
Clean up thread for more information.
Item Withdrawals and Donation Requirements.
As ranks vary, so too does their level of access to the guild bank, as outlined below. Note that these limits apply to
NON-EQUIPPABLE items (That is, anything that
doesnt fall into Armor, weapons, librams, trinkets, rings, necks, shields, bows, crossbows, guns, class books etc) ONLY!
Tab 1: Low level items, open. Anyone can take anything from this tab.
Tab 2: Reagents (leather, ore, herbs etc). All can see and deposit, no withdrawals below Vindicator authority
Tab 3: Raid Storage. Sigillites, Storm Lord and Guild Master can withdraw. All ranks can view.
Tab 4: Restricted Items. Only the Guild Master can withdraw from this tab. Anyone can see it, but withdrawals will be by authority of the GM alone.
The same rules and donation requirements for anything non-equippable that is Superior, Rare or Epic applies here as what is applied to equippable items, outlined below:
>Grey and White armor and weaponry items should NEVER be placed in the guild bank (although mats, cloths etc are fine.) Any cases of Grey and White armor & weapons will immediately be removed from the bank, sold to an NPC and the proceeds donated to the guild bank fund (GBF) by a sigillite or above.
>
Superior quality Items and armor can be requested by anyone holding the rank of Vindicator Juva and above by asking permission from a Sigillite or higher rank.
>
Rare and
Epic quality Items and armor can be requested by anyone holding the rank of Vindicator and above by asking permission from a Sigillite or higher rank.
Withdrawal of Rare items carries a compulsory donation of 5Gold to the guild bank for items of level 50 or higher. Withdrawal of Epic items carries a compulsory donation of 25 gold to the guild bank for items of level 50-65, or 35 gold for items of level 66-80. >
Legendary items will, in all likelihood, never be in the guild bank. But, if by some monumental fortune ( or stup-errr-charitable impulse) a Legendary item makes it into the Guild Bank, then anyone of Vindicator Rank or above may request it, but
they will be required to make a donation to the guild bank of at least 500 gold. >When members of Sigillite Rank wish to withdraw Rare quality or greater from the guild bank, they must ask permission of the Grand Sigillite.
>When the Grand Sigillite intends to withdraw, they must first clear it with at least one of the current Sigillites. Fair is fair, after all.
Guild Bank Gold and Emergency LoansNo one but the Grand Sigillite and Sigillites (including the Storm Lord) will have access to withdraw gold from the GBF. Sigillites will have a
maximum withdrawal of 500 gold per day to grant emergency loans as detailed below, and to pay for raid supplies if the RC or GS are offline. The Raid Commander and Grand Sigillite have unlimited access to the guild bank fund to permit stocking of raids and acquisition of mats for the guild from Auction Houses or NPCs.
In
emergency situations, Sigillites and above may grant a loan to players in distress (e.g. if you’re stuck in Northrend next to a repair NPC with no gold, nothing to sell, and resurrection sickness… how rare that may be, we’ll see…) This function is intended
solely to aid with
emergency situations and so only
one loan may be granted per calendar month, which
must be paid back
within 30 days of granting it.
Any loans granted must be noted in the relevant thread on the Officer Lounge on the guild forum.
